its also though one again has to keep in mind
how rare a piece of the quality of RENT is
even though RENT is not HAIR
which being a real full fledged major masterpiece like something by
dostoyevsky or bizets carmen etc
is still even rarer
but RENT is a fine serious piece/attempt etc at something important
i think
although granted it is not HAIR or even MAME for that matter
TWO GENTS was brilliant incidentally as well although not profound
intellectually in the way that HAIR was
but a brilliant brilliant show in my opinion
which was not well served by the last revival in the park
