[Mb-hair] Echoes of a Past-time

So, I'm watching the Old Timers Game yesterday, out at Yankee Stadium,
when, as many of you know--and as other baseball organizations used to
do--they bring many of the great and veteran players from yesterday back
to be honored by the fans, and play a short exhibition game.

In the 1970s, Oscar Gamble was renowned for a massive, GIGANTIC, Afro...

As Gamble was announced, and he jogged out from the dugout to join his
teammates along the first base line, he doffed his cap, to show, no
doubt, that his noggin was now closely cropped.

But as he gamboled--

Reverberating throughout the most famous stadium in the world--

Played on what used to be the only instrument known in baseball, an
organ--

In front of a sold-out crowd of over 50,000, and who knows how many
enthusiasts, at home--

And with Yogi Berra, and Phil Rizzuto, and Whitey Ford bearing witness--

The umistakeable tones, of "Aquarius."
