Oh, Great God of Power = calling upon Con Ed to turn the lights back on
(reminiscent of the blackouts of the 60's) and then Claude appears.

Yes it was a giant phallus during "The Bed" and we were all sperm
exploding out of the end with handfuls of confetti.  The source of many
accidents, one trip and fall inside that thing and you were trampled.
Symbolizing Claude and Sheila making love.
