 Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can I trouble you again to post 
something for me?  This is in response to your blog, "In Search for an

I agree with Michael B. that Hope is the answer.  To that I would add: 
Youth.

Last week, at a fundraiser for The Power of Hope (my new employer), when 
it came time for my few minutes at the podium, I could think of no 
better summary for my present thinking and direction than to quote a 
familiar line:

Where do I go?
Follow the children
Where do I go, follow their smiles.

Is there an answer
In their sweet faces
That tells me why I live and die?

Playing with my new grandson a lot lately I find those words resonate 
more powerfully for me now than they did in 1968.  In my grandson's 
smile and laughter and purity I find hope of the most basic kind - the 
trust that a little kid has in love.

Hope and Youth are therefore inseparable, and it's a chicken-and-egg 
thing.  I find nothing hopeful in this present generation of misfits 
manipulators and criminals.  Therefore I'm betting on Youth as the 
source of Hope and worthy of our best efforts.
