Both countries need to up their inspection standards. The US standards are a joke...period. Japan is smarter with its inspection methods.
I live near Mabton, Washington where the first mad cow was found.
I'm intentionally not going to go into the details except to share with you that it has now been discovered that the chickens, nationally, are being feed ground-up bonemeal and other body parts from cows.
This is not brain science here...we know what causes dementia in older people-eating meat with (mad cow)-this has been going on for decades.
MacDonald's would buy up the cancer eye cows in Hawaii where I use to work-grind it up in hamburger meat! Think about that! And that was 25 years ago-did you ever read it in the news? NO!!
Cattle eating their own meat, blood and guts will back-fire on the industry! Think about that practice!
Where does this method of feeding animals to animals come back to haunt us? Where is the weak link in continued human consumption...What other ailments will equate to this?
Tell me you're going to continue to eat that steak?
