This is just inhumane, to execute someone (mentally impaired) after 20 years of being in prison, is torture and a callousness of the worst degree. What sick bureaucracy is letting this happen.

      Mr. Donald Beardslee is scheduled to be executed in California on January 19, 2005, despite his serious mental impairment, evidence of disproportional sentencing of co-defendants, and his model behavior in prison for over 20 years. Please urge Governor Schwarzenegger to demonstrate his respect for justice and human life by granting clemency to Donald Beardslee.
