"Funny thing about this scripture quote-there are many scriptures that the 'churches' do not cite because it wasn't political and weakened the church, like women priests, etc. so the main churches hid or changed this stuff."
All I can say is..."Amen, brother." And herein lies part (but only part) of why so many people do not understand what "true" (or, if you prefer, "primitive" or "essential") Christianity is about, and why "Christianity" as a whole has become seen as enormously "hypocritical," if not down right intolerant.
As an aside (not aimed at you but at fellow Christians), this is why I (and many other "primitive" Christians) demand that when other Christians make statements, comments, etc., they underscore those statements, comments, etc. with specific Scriptural passages - and not "taken out of context," but shown within their original context, and supported by other passages as well. Because there are simply too many "Christians" out there who only help to "give Christianity a bad name" (or at least add to that bad name...) by quoting Scripture in a selective, out-of-context manner in order to support narrow, unforgiving, unloving and, ultimately, un-Christian views that Jesus would not recognize at all. Indeed, it is sadly ironic how much many of the "Christian" leaders of today resemble the Temple Priests of Jesus' day in their narrow, legalist, "letter of the law" mentality. Have they learned nothing? Apparently.
Peace to you, whatever your belief.

I especially like the Episcapalian (sp?) Church where 'everyone is wanted and you don't have to leave your thinking at the door'.

Lyle:
Blessings and Peace.
Simply for the record, I think I know where you came up with the "150,000" number. If so, you are mixing things up.
Revelation states that, just after the "church" is Raptured (leaving no "Christians" on earth), 144,000 people (not 150,000) - 12,000 from each of the 12 original tribes of Israel - will become "super-evangelists," and will bring as many or more people "to Christ" during the "end times" (i.e., the last seven years) than believed in Christ prior to the Rapture - perhaps 1,000,000,000 or more.
Feel free to ignore or disdain Scripture. But when you do cite it, please try to do so correctly.
Peace.
