All  Iranians speak of freedom and democracy. To get it however they,
must  sorely want it and valiantly fight for it.


One might easily substitute "Americans" for "Iranians" in the above  
statement.
 
Read today's Paul Krugman column, and then imagine the congressional whores  
"debating" the medical insurance issue, mouthing words written for them by the 
 insurance lobby. 
 
An iceberg-tip, but it exposes the sad truth about what a joke "democracy"  
has become in our own country, how perverted the founding-fathers' dream has  
become...
