The Battle Of Badr vs 2004 Presidential Elections

http://edition.cnn.com/2004/US/10/06/ramadan.concerns/index.html

A conjunction of errors....?

Or merely simple coincidence...?

I feel I am walking in a dream through a warehouse full of nuts, nuts to
the left of me, nuts to the right of me, nuts on the floor, nuts hanging
from the ceiling.

Where is sanity........?

That old song "I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do,
so I leave it up to you...." drifts through the air which reaks of nuts.

There was an article in July by Robert Dean I think about how easily it
would be for any "terrorists" to disrupt the actual election process itself
in 2004,

http://edition.cnn.com/2004/LAW/07/22/dean.elections.terrorism/index.html

and that *that* itself, was the softest target. And now in this
approaching month of Ramadan, the Battle of Badr, the one Mohammed led
himself in 624 A.D., coincides to almost the very exact day of the U.S.
Presidential Election day.

How odd.

And our Top Guys have cheerfully taken a stick, stuck it in a hornet's nest
of militant etc Islamists in the Middle East (in the midst of supposedly
fighting something people vaguely remember called al-Qaeda) which has
helped explode an actual global Terrorist and Militant Religious dudes
recruiting and emotional frenzy into something that has thus far been
unheard of in Modern Times on such a scale.

It's like there's a frigging pair of dice with numbers showing on the crap
table but none of us people standing around the table staring threw them.

And some croupier says "Craps... Next shooter...."

And that's all anyone has to say about anything really.

And with Tom Ridge's recent? prediction of "Definite disruption of
Democratic Process in Fall 2004 by Terrorists in America", I'm leaving the
casino.

It's just too spooky a time, and "conjunction", to completely dismiss as
"nothing really that important".

True, U.S. Election day etc might easily pass with no incidents of any kind
whatsoever. That would be interesting.

The thought remains, however, that with all these conjunctions, and all
these various officials, terrorists, etc, predicting, promising, and
threatening various things, if around the first week of this November you
don't feel like Doofie from "Scary Movie" with poop in your pants standing
there trying to figure out a way to get out of the room, you are just not
an American.

Good luck, bon voyage, I'm moving to Switzerland, I'm tired already of
being a suburb of The Middle East.

Please water the garden while I am gone....
