A day in the maze.  Whining Republicans crush Draft Bill to save election, 
accuse Democrats of "National Draft Scare Tactics".  Fascinating stuff.



"Uncle Cheeseburger.......!!"

"Yes, kids....."

"There used to *not* be a Draft....?"

"That's right, kids...."

"But everything's a 'Draft' today, Uncle Cheeseburger, nuttin's voluntary, 
we even have the glowing numbers they put in our arms to track us..."

"Yes, that's right, kids...  It's quite different today....  Kind of sad 
really when I think about it...."

"Yeah, ok, but so what went wrong then....?"

"Bush got re-elected....  And that was basically the beginning of the end 
of Civilization as we had known it......"

"How did he get re-elected, Uncle Cheeseburger..?  Only dumbasses would do 
that......"

"Yes, that's right, kids, and that's basically how it went...  A bunch of 
dumbasses helped re-elect him, along with some voter intimidation, vote 
fraud, voting machine fraud, and then, of course, it wound up *back* in The 
Supreme Court, which, of course, nobody could believe, the entire nation 
was aghast, but there it lay regardless, like a limp sausage backing in the 
noonday sun...."

"And the final state where all the crap happened was Florida *again*, Uncle 
Cheeseburger.....?"

"Yes, kids, and the entire nation just about took a collective piss when it 
reached that point, but when The Supreme Court stepped in, people from all 
walks of life just began jumping off buildings....."

"Wow...."

"Yeah....  It was like a repeat nightmare just ate the country...."

"And nobody even blinked an eye *again*, Uncle Cheeseburger.....?"

"Not a peep....  Nobody....  It was a "shock and awe" that just blew out 
about 83 percent of all their braincells all at once, and the country 
hobbled to a stop...."

"Then what happened......?"

"Well, after that, there are very few people who even remember what 
happened or how it happened....  All we knew is they had some new kind of 
technology that could put thoughts into your head, and after Bush was 
re-elected they began to use them, everywhere, and the next thing people 
knew, we were just all living under something called The New Regime...."

"And then they crowned Bush 'Emperor', Uncle Cheeseburger....?"

"Yes, yes they did....."

"But where was Johnny English when all that was going on, Uncle 
Cheeseburger.....?"

"Uhh....  uhh, well...  uhhh....  ummm....  By that time, Johnny had 
retired with a beautiful stewardess to a remote island he had bought after 
the success of all his Nike commercials due to his being knighted by the 
Queen...."

"So, he just sat on the fuckin island, fuckin the chick, and said 'fuck 
it', and did fucking nothing, Uncle Cheeseburger.....?"

"Uhhh, well, well...  yes, kids, he did.  Him and James Bond had made a 
pact that if either one or both of them ever retired and the world went to 
shit that they would both just stay put on their islands and let other 
people take care of it...."

"But you always said those two were the best of the best, Uncle 
Cheeseburger, how could anyone lesser than the best of the best have 
stopped something like 'The New Regime' coming into power...?  Wasn't that 
just a copout on their part, Uncle Cheeseburger...?  And now we gotta sit 
here with glowing numbers in our arm and wait for momma to come home with 
some pizza by fucking one of the guys in The New Regime...?"

"Oh, wow, I think I hear your mom, ok, I'm sleepy, night kids...."
