It's called "Smears" and "Libel" in normal sane textbooks.

It doesn't really bother me that much that you actually wrote it here on 
this List.

What really bothers me is that you wrote it, but never bothered to even 
substantiate it.

Or even found that it was mildly important enough to just *Explain*.
