PEACE IS STRONG, WAR IS WEAK !!
It is easier to wage War than it is to maintain Peace.
The US wages war to protect it's national interests, 9/11 was an inevitable result of those interests.
If America had moved out of Saudi Arabia after the war in Kuwait, 9/11 would never have happened!
America's interests/lifestyles are constantly hurting the international community.
This is not an issue of Capitalism, Socialism or Communism, it is an issue of economic/social conduct!
>From protecting the United Fruit Company in Central America, to protecting Oil interests in the Middle East, America has constantly waged war to protect their interests, not democracy. Vietnam was a knee jerk reaction (domino theory) to protect interests from the expansion of communism in Asia. China (communist) is now Americas greatest manufacture/supplier of goods. So what happened here/there?
If I was a Vietnam Vet, I would be so pissed! If I was a parent of a dead soldier I would be so angry.
Iraq is about oil not terrorism, so Americans can drive SUV's, not democracy!
The Arabs are only to willing to sell their oil, they just want to protect their culture, which America does not respect.
America respects no culture, just their national/corporate interests.
Yankee Go Home !!

PS America is a dynamic community, but is strangled by those who will not accept change. i.e. the Mid-West and the Christen Right.
PPS If an American soldier is killed for the pursuit of interests, then their families should be awarded tens of millions of dollars each for their children's, husbands, fathers, spouses sacrifices!

My stance on compassion, war, and interrogation vary and are so vastly far apart from reasoning human compassion.
Compassion is international and the only hope for humanity....
War is never right...I have learned through the world's history and am ashamed that I have been a warrior.
Interogation is inhumane and should never be the last judge...if the first two statements were given their light in day, we would have no need for the third one.
I did not create this war, in fact throughout history, you or I never committed countries to war. We know that countries' policies, doctrines, opportunistic power and influences are mad.
You and I can still hold on to our believes that PEACE is possible in our lifetime, despite all the angry email I recieve that PEACE is weakness and should just be discarded.
Hate is never a family value.
