The existing Prime Minister will not accept the new vote.

This is the man who was challenged with electoral fraud which led to this revolt/re-vote.

Power corrupts, even with 12,000 "international" vote watchers, and not just western, acknowledged that this was a good election, he/his party is not willing accept defeat. 

He obviously has some "very serious" people behind him who have a lot to gain and more so a lot to loose if he is not re-elected.

He is fearful to those people, not to his nation, other wise he would like any other candidate admit defeat and get on with life.

Do not be surprised to see a bullet put to his head by his "friends"! He has made promises that he can no longer keep.
